   Shikhar Dhawan (born 5 December 1985)is an Indian former cricketer .a left -hander  opening batter ,he was considered one of the greatest ODI batsman for Indian cricket team for a decade and Delhi in domestic cricket .his batting average in ICC world cups and  champion trophies is 65 .15 ,which is the highest among batters scoring  at least 1000 runs in those tournament .he  was awarded the player of  the  tournament in the 2013ICC champions trophy and was the leading run  scorer for  Indian at the 2015 cricket world cup.

Dhawan made his one day international (ODI) debut against Australia in October 2010 at Visakhapatnam .his  test  debut  came  against the same opposition in  march 2013 at Mohali ,where he  scored the  fastest century by any batsman on test debut (85 balls) and ended his innings with 187 runs from 174 balls .this is also the highest score by an Indian on a test debut.

in august 2013 ,Dhawan recorded the then-second -highest individual score in a list a match which  he He scored 248 runs off 150 balls for India a against south Africa a at Pretoria .during the 4th against south Africa in Johannesburg ,he  become  the first India and ninth overall to score a century in his 100th ODI game
