Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)

  • 1 teaspoon yeast

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • ¾ cup warm water

For the topping:

  • ½ cup pizza sauce

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1 onion (sliced)

  • 1 capsicum (sliced)

  • 1 tomato (sliced)

  • Sweet corn (optional)

  • Oregano and chili flakes

Preparation

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Leave for 10 minutes.

  2. Add flour, salt, and oil. Knead into a soft dough.

  3. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

  4. Roll the dough into a pizza base.

  5. Spread pizza sauce on the base.

  6. Add cheese and your favorite vegetables.

  7. Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.

  8. Bake in an oven at 220°C for 12–15 minutes until the cheese melts and the crust becomes golden.

Serving

Cut into slices and serve hot with tomato ketchup or chili flakes.
